What is the Certificate of Destruction
The Certification of Destruction is a document that is given to the owner of the car that has been taken to an Authorised Treatment Facility (C.A.T.) to be environmentally dismantled and recycled.
Once the vehicle is deposited at the C.A.T. site, they have the obligation to certify free of charge that the vehicle is in the process of decontamination and this is done by the Certificate of Destruction, establishing in this way the end of the automobile's useful life
