Habitual procedure cases
Deregister a privately owned car whose owner is present at the time of collection.
- Photocopy of both sides of the current DNI/Passport/NIE ( or in its absence the renewal receipt or a signed driver's license)

Deregistration of a vehicle because of death.
- Photocopy of current DNI/passport/NIE of the owner of the vehicle and current DNI/passport/NIE(s) of heir(s).

- Waiver form from all the heirs in favour of the heir who will be present for the collection of the vehicle by the tow truck driver

- The family booklet/marriage certificate (only if the deceased was Spanish) all relevant pages to the first blank page
